Church robbed in Johannesburg
A church has been robbed in Johannesburg while the pastor was preaching.
South Africa has been in the news a lot lately for all the wrong reasons. There has been a wave of violent crime sweeping across the country, especially in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg.
Armed robbers robbed a church in Johannesburg, South Africa while the pastor was preaching. They threatened to shoot the congregants if they resisted. The robbers took all of the congregation’s valuables, including their cell phones and wallets, and also took the tithe money.
In the past, robbery was considered a crime that took place outside of churches. But today, robbery is not only a crime that takes place outside of churches but inside churches as well.
A similar incident took place in the middle of prayer in a mosque in the Johannesburg CBD last week.
