Belinda Magor has been arrested for racism
The Benoni racist woman, Belinda Magor, has been arrested for her racist voice note on a WhatsApp group called “Pit bulls be my voice.”
A South African woman was arrested after a racist voice note went viral in which she advocated for the prohibition of black people rather than Pitbulls.
Belinda Magor was arrested at her home in Benoni, a town in the Ekurhuleni municipality. She reportedly made the comments on a WhatsApp group called “Pit bulls be my voice.”
The police say they received reports of the voice note from members of the public on Friday morning and immediately launched an investigation.
Magor’s comments have been widely condemned on social media.
Racism is a very big problem in South Africa. If you are white, you are usually seen as superior to black people. This is mostly because of the history of apartheid in South Africa.
In the recent past, there has been an increase in racism and xenophobia in South Africa. There has been a surge in hate crimes in South Africa against foreigners.
