An eight-year-old boy was mauled to death by a pit bull in his home in Vista Park, near Bloemfontein on Saturday, 12 November 2022.According to the Free State police, a pit bull had to be shot dead after it mauled to death an eight-year-old boy at his home in Vista Park, Bloemfontein.
The dog was apparently loose inside its enclosure and managed to escape before jumping onto the neighbor’s property. The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. when the boy, who was playing alone, was bitten several times on the neck and chest by the pit bull.
