Janusz Walus, who killed Chris Hani, the former South African freedom fighter, was stabbed in prison by a fellow inmate on Tuesday. According to reports, Walus was stabbed by an inmate from the same housing unit.
The attack follows an announcement that Walus would be released on parole next week after nearly 30 years in jail for killing Hani.
