The bodies of a Punjabi couple from Jalandhar who had been living in the Philippines and were found with gunshot wounds in the city of Manila in the Philippines.
On the evening of March 25, 2019, Sukhwinder Singh, age 41, and Kirandeep Kaur, age 33, were allegedly killed by gunfire. The incident took place at night and was captured by CCTV cameras.
Late on Monday evening, information of the tragedy was sent to the families of the victims in the village of Mehsampur, which is located in Goraya.
According to Lakhbir Singh, his brother and Kirandeep Kaur got married about three years ago, and after their wedding, she moved to Manila about four and a half months ago.
Lakhbir explained what had happened, saying, “We were calling him repeatedly since Sunday, but he was not responding. I asked my uncle to visit his place, where he found my brother and his wife lying in a pool of blood.”
