White-only swimming pool in the Free State, South Africa.
People on social media were outraged and angry when they saw a group of white men beating up two black boys, ages 13 and 18, in a swimming pool at a resort in Free State, South Africa.
The video was uploaded on Twitter by a user who said the incident happened at the Maselspoort Resort and Conference Centre in Bloemfontein.
Since then, the video has been widely shared on social media sites and made people angry on the internet.
The user @Tumii_Frost wrote “Family came to spend the day @ MASELSPOORT RESORT & CONFERENCE CENTRE in Free State. My brothers were attacked by these grown men because they are apparently not allowed in the pool as it’s reserved for the “white people” here. The Oranje-Vrystraat we love Merry Christmas”
The two black boys were attacked by a group of white men after a fight broke out between the two groups in the pool. Frost said the group of white men said the pool was reserved for whites only.
In the video, the attackers can be seen slapping one of the black teens in the face, strangling him, throwing him back into the pool, and then strangling him again.
The police were called to the scene, but the attackers managed to escape.
A statement issued by the South African Police Service on Monday said the incident was being investigated. The investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the assault.
No arrests have been made at this stage.

South Africa has been hit by xenophobic attacks for the past few years. The attacks were targeted toward foreigners, especially those of African origin.
