Woman shot and killed inside her car in Midrand
In Midrand, a woman was shot several times and killed inside her car.
After an unidentifiable woman was found in her car in Midrand on June 15, police in the province of Gauteng are investigating a homicide that has the appearance of an execution.
When the police arrived at the location, they allegedly discovered a blue Hyundai i20 that had been hit multiple times by bullets lying on the roadside. The woman had been shot many times, resulting in her injuries.
There was an alleged shooting near Olifantsfontein and Allandale roads, according to a police spokesperson. Investigators are following up on leads in the case, the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
