The caption read, “Sinazo Bambeni is in East London, in the Eastern Cape. I decided to take myself out for Valentine’s. Solo vacation. self-love.” However, the image sparked controversy as social media users quickly noticed the presence of a man lying in the bed behind her.
According to reports, Bambeni, who was in a relationship with a boyfriend in Cape Town, faced the consequences of her viral post. The boyfriend, upon discovering the incriminating picture, reportedly decided to end their partnership.
In response to the backlash, Sinazo Bambeni took to her Facebook account, blaming social media users for interfering in her relationship. Bambeni continued, “This is also a sad day for me because now my boyfriend in Cape Town is fighting with me about that trending picture, and it’s just a pity I can’t apologize to him publicly; he has blocked me.”
